Pear-Pecan Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 2 1/2) can pears
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. whipping cream
Preparation

Drain juice from pears and reserve 1 cup of liquid.
Bring the juice to boil on high heat of electric range.
Remove from heat and add lemon flavored gelatin.
Chill until partially set.
Place pears and cream cheese in blender container and blend until of creamy consistency.
Stir in gelatin mixture.
Add pecans.
Whip the cream and fold into mixture.
Pour into mold.
Chill.
