Veal Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 veal cutlets (about 1/4-inch thick)
    1/2 c. plain dry bread crumbs
    2 1/4 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1/4 tsp. oregano, crushed
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Pound veal cutlets to 1/8-inch thick on cutting board with meat mallet.
    In a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and mix well.
    In another shallow dish, beat egg and water. Dip veal into egg mixture, then coat with bread crumb mixture.
    In shallow nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, in hot oil, brown veal.
    In a shallow 2-quart baking dish, arrange cutlets and pour sauce over veal.
    Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese and oregano over veal. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
    Makes 4 servings.
