Stuffed Vidalia Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large Vidalia onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Peel onions.
    Remove centers, leaving a shell.
    Chop 2 tablespoons onion from centers.
    Set aside.
    Place butter in onions.
    Cook on High for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Brown onion with ground beef in microwave on High for 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Add sour cream, cheese and mushrooms.
    Fill onion shells.
    Cook on Medium-high in microwave for 2 to 3 minutes, until heated throughout.
    Makes 4 servings.
