Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    5 c. potatoes, peeled and sliced
    sliced raw onion
Preparation
    Make a white sauce by melting margarine and stirring in flour, salt and (pepper, if desired). Gradually add milk. Add Cheddar and Parmesan cheese and stir until cheese is melted. In a greased casserole dish, layer potatoes, raw sliced onion and cheese mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
