*Dutch Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
    7 medium size tart cooking apples
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. cream
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Pare, halve and core apples; slice 4.
    Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon; sprinkle half over sliced apples.
    Arrange remaining apple halves, cut side down, on top of sliced apples.
    Sprinkle on remaining sugar mixture.
    Pour cream in slowly near the center. Dot with butter.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour or until apples are tender.
    Juice thickens as pie cools.
    Remove from oven and press apple halves lightly in juice with a fork.
    Serve warm or cold.
