Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. oleo, melted
1/4 c. milk
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Mix cake by directions and pour half batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Melt caramels with oleo and milk.
Blend all well and pour over cake in pan.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup nuts and chocolate chips over caramel mixture.
Pour remaining batter over all and sprinkle with remaining nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes longer and test for doneness.
Cut into squares.
