Brine To Cure Ham Or Bacon - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. water
1 pt. Tender Quick
1 c. brown sugar
1 heaping Tbsp. black pepper
2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
Preparation

Bring to boil and pour over meat.
Let stand in brine approximately 1 week for bacon and 2 weeks for ham.
