Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put sugar, corn syrup, water, salt and raw peanuts in a 2-quart bowl suitable for microwave oven.
    Cook on High 5 minutes.
    Stir and cook 13 to 15 minutes (hard crack stage).
    Stir twice in last minute.
    Add butter, baking soda and vanilla.
    Pour on greased cookie sheet.
    Let cool and break up.
