Creole Sauce(8 Servings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. minced onion
2 Tbsp. butter
1 crushed bay leaf
1/4 c. diced celery
1 tsp. minced parsley
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 can tomato paste
2 1/2 c. water
Preparation

Saute onion in butter; blend in the rest of the ingredients. Simmer slowly for 30 minutes.
Serve with jambalaya, or add 2 cups cooked shrimp and serve over plain rice for Shrimp Creole.
