Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or regular margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 2/3 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Beat butter and shortening until light.
    Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Add to mixture.
    Combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
