Cream Cheese Mints - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
food color (as desired)
flavoring (as desired)
2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
granulated sugar
Preparation

Beat cream cheese until soft; add color and flavor (example: peppermint).
Gradually beat in confectioners sugar.
Knead the mixture until pie dough consistency (a soft or firmer candy can be made by adding or decreasing the amount of sugar).
Pinch off a small piece, form into a small marble sized ball and roll in granulated sugar.
Press the candy into a soft rubber mold and shape.
Remove excess and unmold at once onto waxed paper.
Makes 40 to 50 mints.
