Colonial Popovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. salad oil
Preparation
    Blend the milk, oil and eggs with wire whip.
    Combine salt and flour and add to the egg mixture, beating thoroughly.
    Batter will be lumpy.
    Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
    Grease heavy muffin or popover pans thoroughly, but do not flour.
    Fill baking cups to top with batter and bake in preheated 425\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue baking for 20 minutes more.
    Popovers should have a hollow sound when tapped and be brown all over.
