Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. oleo
    4 cups sifted flour
    scant cup sugar
Preparation
    Have oleo soft so it is workable.
    Mix flour and sugar into oleo.
    Take 1/2 mixture and knead until light and fluffy.
    Pat out on lightly floured surface to thickness desired.
    Cut into squares, dip top in sugar (this gives it a crust).
    Prick bread with fork to allow the heat to go through.
