Holiday Breads(Many Variations!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2-1/2 c. flour
    1-1/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped nuts
    Ingredients for variations are shown below
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Combine all ingredients in large mixer bowl at low speed.
    Beat on medium for 30 seconds, scraping the bowl often.
    Bake 60-65 minutes or until bread tests done.
    Refrigerate overnight for better slicing.
