Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
48 chocolate Kisses

Preparation

Spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
Mix at low speed until dough forms. Shape dough into balls using rounded teaspoonful of dough.
Roll balls in additional sugar.
Place onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and top with candy Kisses, pressing down until cookie cracks around edge.
