Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot sausage, cooked and fat drained off
    1 medium size green pepper, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimento, chopped
    1/2 c. fresh or canned mushrooms, chopped
    1 c. raw rice (may use Minute rice)
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Brown
    and
    scramble sausage; saute pepper, onion and celery
    in
    1
    tablespoon
    oil until tender. Mix with remaining ingredients.
    Pour into an 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish and bake, covered, for about 1 hour and 25 minutes for
    raw rice.
    If
    using
    Minute
    rice, bake for 45 minutes. Serves 10.
