Cherokee Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 tsp. olive oil
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. tomatoes
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. Minute rice
    3 slices American cheese
    6 stuffed olives
Preparation
    Brown meat in olive oil.
    Add onion, cook until tender. Stir in other ingredients
    in
    order
    given
    except olives and cheese. Bring the mixture to
    a
    boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Spoon into baking dish and top with cheese.
    Broil
    until
    cheese
    is
    melted and garnish with stuffed olives.
