Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder and salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter or oleo, softened
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. uncooked quick oats
1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and soda.
Set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Stir in flour mixture, vanilla, oats, then coconut.
Drop by teaspoons 3-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
Cool on rack.
