Liver Nips - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. plain flour
1 medium beef roast
1/2 lb. beef liver
beef fat or suet
2 eggs
1 medium onion, chopped fine
salt and pepper
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
1/4 tsp. coriander
1/2 c. beef broth
Preparation

Boil beef roast and suet until tender.
Remove from broth.
Rub with ground mustard and brown beef in oven.
Scrape liver to gristle.
Put flour in mixing bowl; add liver, eggs, salt, pepper, onion, baking powder, basil, coriander and beef broth.
Mix to a stiff dough.
Drop by tablespoon into hot broth.
Boil about 15 minutes.
