Ingredients

3 c. chokecherry juice
1 c. water
6 1/2 c. sugar
1 bottle liquid pectin
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Pour juice into a large heavy kettle.
Add sugar and stir to mix.
Place over high heat.
Bring to boil; stir constantly.
Stir in pectin.
Bring to a full, rolling boil and boil hard for 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Stir and skim for 5 minutes.
Add almond extract.
Pour into jars and seal.
Process for 10 minutes in hot water bath.
