Tomato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. canned crescent rolls
3 large fresh tomatoes
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. chives
3/4 tsp. basil
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Line large pie pan or 11 1/4 x 7 1/2-inch dish with crescent rolls.
Slice the tomatoes in pan until 3/4 full.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, basil, chives and onion over tomatoes.
Mix mayonnaise and Cheddar cheese.
Pour on the tomatoes.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool slightly before serving.
