Pear Streusel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced pears
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    9 or 10-inch pie crust
Preparation
    Boil pears in 1 cup water for 10 minutes.
    Drain and save liquid for sauce.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Add lemon rind, juice and 1 cup cooking liquid from pears.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Put pears in uncooked pie crust; cover with sauce.
    Sprinkle with Streusel Topping and bake in a hot 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes longer.
    Serve warm with ice cream.
