Chili-Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. uncooked, medium noodles
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 (4 oz.) can pimiento, chopped
    2 Tbsp. chopped, hot green chili peppers
    3 c. cut up, cooked chicken
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain in a large skillet.
    Cook and stir onion in butter until tender.
    Stir in soup, pimiento and chili peppers.
    In a greased 4-quart casserole, layer half of the noodles and half the chicken. Season with salt and pepper.
    Top with half the soup mixture and half the cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake, uncovered, about 45 minutes.
