Chocolate Chip Squares(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Preparation

Cream margarine and vanilla in bowl.
Add brown sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy.
Add egg and beat thoroughly. Blend flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir into creamed mixture. Stir in half of chocolate pieces.
Turn into an ungreased 1 1/2 quart glass dish.
Top with remaining chocolate pieces.
Cook, uncovered, 7 to 8 minutes on Medium High.
Rotate dish 1 quarter turn once.
Cool and cut into squares.
Makes 1 dozen.
