Sharon'S Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. tomatoes
    1 stick real butter
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    pinch of sugar
Preparation
    Cook tomatoes and butter for 15 minutes.
    Run through foley mill.
    Add onion, salt and sugar.
    Cook 45 to 60 minutes.
    Put in pint containers and freeze.
    Makes 1 quart.
