Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    2 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
    1 tsp. almond or vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Boil slowly sugar, water and milk.
    After it starts to boil real hard when stirring, add the pecans.
    Cook until soft ball stage.
    Add vanilla or almond flavoring and remove from heat. Stir for a few minutes and then drop by spoonful on wax paper.
