Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 (16 oz) can creamed corn
    2 1/2 c sweet milk or buttermilk
    1/2 c salad oil or bacon drippings
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies
    2 cups corn meal
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    1 1/2 c grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix eggs, corn, milk, oil, onion and green chilies.
    Mix together corn meal, soda and salt; combine with liquid mixture. Add cheese.
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0, put well greased pans in oven to preheat and pour batter into warmed pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 - 60 minutes.
    Cut into squares and serve.
