Watermellon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 12 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup raisins
few drops of red food coloring
Preparation

Soak raisins in boiling water for 15 minutes, then drain well. Dust with flour and set aside.
Cream together sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, water and vanilla.
Add flour and baking powder.
Add a few drops of coloring to make the mixture pink. Fold in raisins.
Pour the batter into greased floured pans.
