Caramel Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box dark brown sugar
3 c. plain flour
1 c. butter or oleo
5 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)
1 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk
1 tsp. butter flavoring
Preparation

Cream together the butter, shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift the flour and baking powder together.
Add alternately with milk.
Add flavoring and nuts.
Put into a greased and floured tube pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours.
