Coffee Liqueur - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. instant coffee granules
2 1/2 qt. boiling water
1 qt. pure grain alcohol
1/4 c. vanilla extract
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine sugar and coffee.
Add boiling water, stirring to dissolve.
Cool completely.
Stir in pure grain alcohol and vanilla.
Pour mixture into bottles and close tightly.
Let stand in a dark place for at least 2 weeks before serving.
Yields about 16 cups of liqueur.
