Vidalia Onion Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 1/2 c. chopped Vidalia onions
    4 Tbsp. butter
    5 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. raw rice
    3/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
    2/3 c. half and half
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Boil rice in salted water 5 minutes. Drain.
    Mix well with onions, cheese and cream.
    Bake in greased casserole at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 8.
