Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
2 c. milk
6 to 8 bananas
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
vanilla wafers
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and flour; add eggs.
Beat well.
Add milk and stir.
Cook in a double boiler, stirring often, until thickened. Add vanilla and butter; stir.
While pudding is hot, spread a layer of wafers and a layer of sliced bananas until pudding mixture is used.
Garnish with wafers.
