Wild Rice Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked wild rice
    seasoned salt (optional)
    2 c. diced cooked chicken
    1 1/2 c. halved green grapes
    1 c. water chestnuts or celery
    3/4 c. light mayonnaise
    1 c. cashews (optional)
    lettuce
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions, omitting any salt if desired.
    Drain well.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Put in large bowl.
    Add chicken, grapes, chestnuts or celery and mayonnaise. Toss gently.
    Cover and chill.
    Just before serving, add nuts and serve on lettuce.
    Yields 6 servings.
