Tourtiere(French Meat Pie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. meat (ground pork and beef combination)
    1 small minced onion
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 garlic clove
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. celery salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    pinch of ground cloves
    3 medium potatoes
    2 crust pie pastry for 9 or 10-inch pie plate
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients except potatoes and crust over low heat, stirring constantly until meat loses its red color, then cover and cook 45 minutes.
