Crispy Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Jiffy corn muffin mix
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal
    3 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    dash of salt and pepper
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Preparation
    Mix well.
    Gradually add 1 cup tap water and thoroughly mix all ingredients.
    Spoon off into deep hot cooking fat.
    Let brown. Serve hot. Yields 30 hush puppies.
