Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 c. applesauce (cold)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    cinnamon
    1 tsp. each: nutmeg and ground cloves
    1 c. raisins
    3 c. pecans, chopped
    1 1/2 c. candied cherries, chopped
    1 1/2 c. candied pineapple, chopped
Preparation
    Mix applesauce, eggs and hot water.
    Sift flour and spices together 3 times.
    Add to applesauce mixture.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix.
    Grease and flour (also spray with Pam) a 10-inch tube pan. Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick can be removed clean.
    Better than ordinary fruitcake recipe.
