Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 lb. hamburger
    2/3 c. fine bread crumbs
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. minced dill pickle or sweet relish
Preparation
    Blend soup and 1/2 can water.
    Add allspice.
    Measure out 1/4 cup soup mixture; set aside.
    Combine crumbs, hamburg, egg, onion, parsley and salt.
    Mix well.
    Shape into 1-inch diameter balls.
    In large skillet, brown meatballs in 1 tablespoon shortening or oil. Add to remaining soup mix the 1/2 tablespoon minced dill pickle (or sweet relish optional).
    Cook over low heat 20 minutes, stirring now and then.
    Serves 4.
