Pogo'S Light Biscuits For Belly-Draggers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. soy flour
1/4 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. powdered milk
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 envelope (1/4 oz.) active dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. chicken stock
1 egg, beaten and mixed with 1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Combine flours, cornmeal, brewer's yeast, powdered milk, parsley and garlic powder in bowl.
In small bowl dissolve dry yeast in warm water.
Stir well and add chicken stock.
Pour liquid mixture into dry ingredients.
Using hands, combine all ingredients, kneading several minutes.
Sprinkle additional cornmeal on board and roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut into dog bone shapes and place on cookie sheet.
Brush lightly with egg glaze.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Let biscuits dry in oven several hours or overnight.
Store in airtight container.
