Never Fail Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. hot water
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
3 Tbsp. Jell-O (cherry, strawberry or lime)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Butter sides of heavy 2-quart saucepan.
In it, combine sugar, syrup, water and salt.
Cook and stir until sugar dissolves and mixture reaches boiling point.
Cook without stirring to hard ball stage (250\u00b0).
Remove from heat.
