Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 strips salt pork
    oil
    3 c. celery
    3 c. onion
    6 medium to large potatoes
    2 cans baby clams with stomachs
    2 cans chopped clams
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1 pt. light cream
Preparation
    Cut up salt pork, render fat in pan with 2 tablespoons oil. Remove pork rind from pan and add onions and celery, barely cover with water.
    Cut potatoes bite size and add to onion and celery when almost done.
    Add clams, margarine and cream; simmer.
