Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 potatoes, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces
    2 onions, chopped
    1 carrot, pared and sliced
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    5 c. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in a crock-pot.
    Cover and cook on low heat for 10 to 12 hours.
    If desired, mash potatoes with masher before serving.
    Serve topped with chopped chives.
    Servings: 6 to 8.
