Beef Teriyaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef boneless sirloin steak, cut in thin strips
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. Sake or dry sherry
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. chopped ginger root or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 clove garlic, chopped
Preparation
    Place beef in glass or plastic bowl.
    Mix soy sauce, Sake, oil, ginger root, sugar and garlic.
    Pour over beef, cover and refrigerate (stirring occasionally), at least 1 hour.
