Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, beaten separately
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. jam
    2 c. preserves (any kind)
    2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks and other ingredients and fold in egg whites last.
    Bake in 3 (9-inch) cake pans at 325\u00b0 until done.
