Douglas Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can kraut
    1 medium green pepper, diced
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    2 Tbsp. diced pimento
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Drain kraut and squeeze dry with hands.
    Mix next 3 ingredients.
    Bring to a boil the water, sugar and vinegar.
    Pour over kraut mixture.
    Add oil.
    Refrigerate overnight.
