Quick Yeast German Plum Cake - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) tube refrigerated crescent yeast rolls
1 doz. fresh plums, washed, quartered and pitted (small Italian plums are best)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Grease a 9-inch square pan.
Open the tube of dough.
Press half of dough into pan (4 flat triangles).
Press remaining dough evenly over first layer.
Place plum quarters in rolls on dough, cut side up.
Press into dough slightly.
Blend with fingers or pastry blender the sugar, butter, flour and cinnamon.
Sprinkle this mixture on top of plums.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Serve warm.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
Top with Cool Whip.
