Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed strawberries (berries should be measured after they have been crushed)
    4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Place in large mixing bowl.
    Mix well and let stand 20 minutes, stirring often.
    Take one box fruit pectin, mix 1/2 cup water and mix well in a small saucepan.
    Place over low heat and stir until it comes to a boil.
    Let boil 1 minute.
    Pour immediately over the berries and stir an additional 2 minutes. Pour into containers and let stand overnight.
    Berries may then be placed in freezer.
    Very good over everything!
