Cornmeal Cheddar Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c flour
    1/2 c yellow cornmeal
    2 t sugar
    1 T baking powder
    1/4 t salt
    1/2 cold butter or margarine
    1/2 cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c milk
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine dry ingredients; cut in butter until crumbly.
    Stir in cheese and milk just until moistened.
    Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown.
    Serve warm.
    Yield: 1 dozen.
