Apple Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1-1/2 c. Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 c. cold Butter or Margarine
3 c. Peeled Tart Apples
1/3 c. Sugar
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 c. Evaporated Milk
1 Egg
1/2 c. Sugar
Preparation

In a bowl, combine Flour and Salt; cut in butter until crumbly. Press onto the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
Arrange apples over the crust.
Combine Cinnamon and 1/3 c. Sugar; sprinkle over the Apples.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
For Custard whisk Milk, Egg and 1/2 c. Sugar until smooth.
Remove pie after 20 minutes and pour Custard over Apples.
Bake at 375 degrees 25-30 minutes longer or until a knife inserted towards the center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack.
