Zesty Sausage Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 cup biscuit mix
4 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 lb. hot sausage or 1 lb. hamburger, or, 1/2 each
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups grated cheese

Preparation

Mix biscuit mix with milk and 2 tbsp.
mayonnaise. Spread on well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Saute meat and onions, drain. Spread meat onto biscuit mixture. Beat together, egg and remaining 2 tbsp. mayonnaise, cheese and peppers. Spread mixture on top of meat layer. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Cut into squares and serve hot.
