Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar (cut 1/2 sugar, not as sweet)
1 c. boiling water
3 tsp. cornstarch
1 small strawberry jello
1 1/2 qt. strawberries
2 frozen pie shells

Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, jello and boiling water on double boiler.
Cook until thickened, then let cool.
Cook 2 pie shells. Place strawberries in bottom of pie shells.
Pour strawberry mix over top and chill.
Top with Cool Whip.
